The location is perfect.
I did not like the room. No comfort, besides the beds. The roof was leaking if someone on the 9th floor was bathing. From the 2nd day we did not get any bodylotion, coffee and conditioner.

Quiet atmosphere and surroundings. Was in Curacao for health reasons, so did not 'explore' the facilities.
Was surprised and somewhat annoyed that the booking was not recorded when I registered. Paid for the two days. Did that on the same credit card and will deal with that later. Was surprised at the way they handle telephone calls and internet service. However, internet service throughout the island is not visitor friendly, yet it does not seem like the ISP's are metering surf time.

An older style hotel, which I generally like, but possibly a bit too old now. Doesn't really offer the amenities you would expect of a four star hotel. No internet in the rooms. No fitness centre. Small pool.
Food was good. All freshly made from what I could see, and the stall were helpful although they managed to lose my laundry.

Excellent localization , good prices for breakfast and to stay , nice swimming pool, beatiful view , very kind staff , we can go walking dowtown and with us$ 15 is possible to go by taxi to Mambo Beach , an excellente beach to go.
There is a lot of mosquitos near the reception and if you not pay attention some birds can eat the bread in your breakfast if you use the outdoor tables.

The location and the view (if you order a room with sea view) is great, and you can see the hotel as you fly inn over Curacao. We could go out on our balcony and watch the cruise ships approach Willemstad, and at night we could gaze out through the panoramic window in our bed room and see all the boats queuing up outside the city. It was also only a very short walk into Willemstad city centre.
The staff in the bars, the restaurants and the reception were rather poor. The staff were not smiling and it took a long time to get served (and even to be allowed to place an order). Also, the day we arrived the water was gone due to maintenance. The message in the reception area said this was for the time period between 10 AM to 6 PM. However, we didn't have water until the next day (!) meaning that we were not even able to use the restrooms. The staff didn't even apologize on behalf of the hotel (- 'We, as guests, should understand that this was a very stressful situation for the receptionists). Things like having the water cut off is of course nobody's fault, but the way the hotel staff handled the situation was very unprofessional.
